Penne with walnuts sauce

This is a recipe for 4 people. You will amaze your guests with a recipe that is as good as easy!

  • 100 gr of peeled walnuts
  • 80 gr of parmesan
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 8 tablespoons of double thick cream
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oli
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 500 of penne pasta

Start with putting your pasta pan on the fire with enough salted water to cook the pasta.

In the blender blend together the parmesan, the double cream, garlic, salt and pepper. Blend all the ingredients until you have a smooth foamy sauce. Add your walnuts and give a few pulse blend, you want the walnuts to be small enough to mix with the sauce, but still be able to feel the different texture while eating.

Hello blog!

I had a few days off. My brother came to visit me with his wife and my 6 months old nephew. It’s been lovely to have the  table full of nice food  shared with the people I love most.
Of course after my holidays at work I had loads to catch up at work! But here we go again.
Today recipe is the one I made the first evening with my reunited family!

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 500 gr of farfalle pasta
  • 200 gr of double thick fresh cream
  • 300 gr of fresh salmon filet
  • half onion
  • 3 spoons of butter
  • salt and pepper as needed

Start taking the skin off your salmon. I hate doing it, that’s when my partner comes handy! Dice it in big pieces and put aside.
Put your pasta pan filled up with water on the fire and while you wait for it to boil follow the next steps.

Bake cakes it’s all about making them look nice and very appealing for the eyes. The feeling of  mouth watering when you enter a cake shop is what you are aiming when you think about bake a cake.
This different version of vanilla cupcakes screams EAT ME!!

To make 12 cupcakes you will need:

  • 175 gr Self raising flour sifted
  • 150 gr Softened salted butter
  • 150gr of caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For your Icing:

  • 250 gr of softened  unsalted butter
  • 250 gr of icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon od vanilla extract
  • Mini shortbreads
  • Chocolate chips

In this recipe you will need 12 cupcakes cases in a muffin tin and a piping bag with a large nozzle. For best results use for the icing and the cakes an electric mixer.
