Penne with walnuts sauce

This is a recipe for 4 people. You will amaze your guests with a recipe that is as good as easy!

  • 100 gr of peeled walnuts
  • 80 gr of parmesan
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 8 tablespoons of double thick cream
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oli
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 500 of penne pasta

Start with putting your pasta pan on the fire with enough salted water to cook the pasta.

In the blender blend together the parmesan, the double cream, garlic, salt and pepper. Blend all the ingredients until you have a smooth foamy sauce. Add your walnuts and give a few pulse blend, you want the walnuts to be small enough to mix with the sauce, but still be able to feel the different texture while eating.

Cook the pasta according to the packaging in order to have an al dente finish, but before draining the water add 2 tablespoon of cooking water to your sauce that is still in the blender. Re-blend the sauce and add to your drained pasta.

People may prefer a sprinkle of black pepper on top, but this is totally up to your guests!
