Spaghetti olives and capers – Spaghetti olive e capperi

This main course is been for a long time one of my favourites, but unfortunately my partner doesn’t like olives, what kind of italian he is??
So every time I enjoy a nice dinner by my self or with a friend I definitely have to have this main!

For 4 people

  • 500 gr of spaghetti
  • 1 litre of passata
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of  black olives
  • 2 teaspoons of cappers
  • some olive oil
  • a pinch of salt

Into a sauce pan fill up the bottom with some olive oil and add your garlic and cappers. Leave it on a moderate fire until the garlic starts to burn, when it does take it out and add the tomato and the olives. Add half glass of water to help cooking and the salt. Stir every now and then, it will take 15 to 20 minutes. It’ll be ready when the sauce will be less liquid and more dense.

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet and drain when done.

Mix the sauce with the pasta and put nicely in a plate.

Job done! Easy, isn’t it?
