Let’s think at the evening favourites treat! What’s better that a heavy resin outside, an hot chocolate warming your hands and a perfect brownie to dip in it? 🙂
Let’s bake them then!!!
In your cupboard you have to have:
- 175 gr of butter
- 2 Eggs
- 200 gr of sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 40 gr of hazelnuts
- 200 gr of dark chocolate cutter in small pieces
- 100 gr of plain flour
- 5 gr of baking powder
- 20 gr of cocoa powder
In this recipe you will need a pan at “Bagno maria”. It is a large pan full of water on a high fire and a small pan in it, that doesn’t touch the bottom, where we are going to melt our ingredients. This helps you to control the heat in your pan that spread quite equally.
In your bagnomaria melt the butter and the chocolate string. When it is all melted and shiny, add you cocoa powder and mix it in. Let it cool while you follow the next step.
In a large bowl mix together the sugar and the eggs aiming for a nice fluffy mixture. While you keep beating add slowly the mixture of chocolate and butter. In another bowl mix together the baking powder, the flour and the salt.
Add the flour mixture to the main mixture a spoonful at the time while you keep whisk. Crush half od the amount of hazelnut and leave the rest whole. Add them all mixing.
Put the mixture in a baking tray 20×28 centimetre covered with baking paper and let it cook in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.
Once done let it set outside the oven for at least 10 minute and then you can take it out the mould.
Cut your big brownies in smallest pieces of the shape you like…
Your evening is set!
