Let say it! I love lamb! Not the healthiest choice, but it is very very tasty!!
I have lamb one a week and when I do I’ll cook it this way and the spinach make me feel less guilty.
What you need today for 2 people:
- 500 gr of Lamb chops (Don’t save on meat otherwise it only be fatty and not very nice)
- 300 gr of frozen spinach (You can save here, frozen vegetable are a very good thing for people how haven’t got much time for shopping every day)
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil (+6 more for cooking)
- 4 tablespoon of worcester sauce
- steak seasoning
Start marinate your Lamb mixing together the worcester sauce and the 2 spoons of olive oil. Put the marinade and the lamb now, with a generous spoon of steak seasoning in a food bag for 1 hour.
While you are rolling your fingers start preparate your spinach. Place the amount you’ll need in a microwave proof container and place it in the microwave covered after adding 2 spoons of water. Max power for 5 min. Once done drain the water and put them in a pan with 3 spoons of olive oil salt and a sprinkle of hot chilli on a moderate fire. They’ll need to cook until the water is pretty much all evaporated, it will take from 10 to 15 min. Stir every now and then. Done!
It’s time now to cook our lamb. In another pan, big enough to contain all the lamb, put the 3 spoons of olive oil remaining on a low fire and when the oil is hot add your lab and cover with a lid. Turn them around after 4/5 minutes and let them cook on the other side. Take the lid away increase the fire and you are now looking for the crunchy finishing on the outside, if you have too much liquid in the pan drain it at this point.
Serve your lamb and spinach piping hot and enjoy!
